Hello! I'm Jakub, and JAWOR is my personal workshop—a place where I indulge my passions for design, craftsmanship, materials, and history.

My academic journey began in product design, culminating in a Master's Degree from the Glasgow School of Art. Along the way, I've had the privilege of immersing myself in diverse approaches to design during academic stints at Aalto University, KISD, and UMPRUM.

Beyond design, I've always been captivated by traditional crafts and materials—those mastered by our ancestors.

JAWOR allows me the freedom to be eclectic, pursuing projects that fuel my curiosity, perk up my skills, and fulfill my creative drive. One of my significant undertakings — M U O T O — focuses on kitchen knife exploration, where I merge design and craftsmanship to create knives that are approachable, appealing, and above all, effortless and satisfying to use. In other endeavors, I recreate historical objects, interpret them, or delve into crafting medieval costumes that blend fantasy with historical authenticity.
